Homeowner Help—All in One Place

The Internet is full of information for homeowners—if you can find what you’re looking for. Google searches can pull up thousands of sites, most of them irrelevant, and it’s your task to weed through them. Now there’s a way around information overload. Community Associations Institute (CAI), a national membership group that works on behalf of communities like ours, has created a site specifically for homeowners and potential homebuyers.

The site includes links to several free CAI documents, including An Introduction to Community Association Living and Community Matters—What You Should Know Before You Buy. It also features links to a number of government and nonprofit websites on topics such as:

Who to Contact if You're Impacted by

Noise from Aircraft Operations at

Richmond International Airport

If you are tired of the noise from Richmond Airport, disturbed by the sound of planes flying over our neighborhood and are dubious that the noise abatement rules are being properly enforced, here's an action you can take.

Report these instances whenever they happen. Note the date and time and call the Richmond Airport Noise Abatement office to speak with the Richmond International Airport Capital Region Airport Commission at 804-226-3056 or contact FAA Aviation Noise Ombudsman, at (202) 267-3521 and follow up with an email to 9-AWA-NoiseOmbudsman@faa.gov. There IS something we can do.

FlightAware is a web-based application designed to display flight operations in 3D. The application is capable of showing aircraft operations to/from Richmond Airport.

FlightAware enables members of the community to log on to and track the flight data from the convenience of their home.

Are you Sick of Mosquitoes Controling Your Home?

To help homeowners find the source of mosquito problems, the County of Henrico offer complimentary mosquito inspections on your properties.

To request a mosquito inspection, please fill out Henrico's online mosquito inspection form and an inspector will contact you.

You do not need to be present during the mosquito inspection.  An inspector will call you to discuss findings and provide you with a checklist of potential or active breeding sites on your property.
